Nana's 1st Krump Dancing Competition

The first ever Krump Competition was held March 3rd, 2007 at the Tautua Hall in Pago Pago before a packed crowd of about two thousand spectators.
The hip hop style dancing features painted faces, over-sized clothing, and provocative dance movements that one group uses to challenge another dance group. There were dancers as young as maybe three years old who performed that night along with older dancers in their teens.
The event was sponsored y Nana’s Company, which is owned by Mrs. Fiapaipai Fruean, wife of Senator Tuaolo Fruean.
